Dr. George Corliss

Professor
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Marquette University

PhD in Mathematics from University of Michigan. Distinguished professor and scientist, Dr. Corliss has wide academic and professional expereince of over 30 years. Dr. Corliss has received several grants and contracts from the National Science Foundation, S.C. Johnson Wax, and Johnson Controls for instruction and research in industrial and applied mathematics. He has delivered addresses to an international conference, several regional meetings, and five different universities on the practice and teaching of applied mathematics. He teaches project-based applied mathematics, modeling, and data analysis, and he has done industrial consulting in applied mathematics with 10+ firms. He had made significant contributions to the Mathematic and Scientific community by authoring number publications on the subject of Automatic Differentiation, Bounding Derative Ranges,Reliable Engineer Computing to name a few.

Dr. Jay Bayne

PhD Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara. Long and productive career in developing and applying advanced information technology to the automation and control of industrial and commercial processes. Author of many papers and books on the subject of distributed real-time control systems (aka, "cyberinfrastructure"). 11 year academic career followed by 20 years as senior technology executive (R&D and Engineering) for global Fortune 500 automation companies. Presently Executive Director for the Milwaukee Institute, a non-profit IT-oriented research foundation, CEO of Meta Command Systems and Adjunct Professor at UWM.
