Regional Sales Representative
Description:
Lockstep Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive and manage sales efforts. The primary objective for this role will be to drive new business and support aggressive growth. You will be responsible for both identifying and selling to new clients while continuing to develop and grow business with existing clients. You must be able to establish effective rapport with appropriate client executives to understand their needs and work with the Lockstep Technical Team to deliver accurate proposals for service.
Key Responsibilities:
*Construct and follow a sales strategy to penetrate markets and provide management with realistic and attainable sales forecasts
*Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, lead development through closure
*Bring to the table your extensive list of well-known, high-level contacts, at Fortune 1000 companies so that you can make an immediate impact on our revenue and your wallet
*Generate leads from relationships, through personally conducted outbound campaigns and through partner channels
*Work execute marketing campaigns to support those solutions
*Support client and project managers in up/cross selling project services to existing client base
Qualifications:
*A minimum of 5 years selling consulting services in the software solutions industry, public sector sales expereince and a proven track record exceeding personal sales quotas
*Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives in Fortune 1000 companies
*Ability to quickly establish and maintain key relationships within prospect companies
*Experience managing on-going client relationships and a successful track record of selling additional services to those clients
*Experience collecting requirements and working in a team environment to develop sales proposals that reflect those requirements
* Proven ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to customer priorities, details & deadlines
*Sales tenacity, vibrant energy, ideas, a collaborative spirit & sense of humor will certainly contribute to your success
*Thrive in a start-up or fast paced entrepreneurial environment and understand the complexities of a partner/alliance-centric business model
*Exceptional organizational, time management, written & verbal communication skills, business acumen and common sense combined with exceptionally strong presentation skills
* A resourceful approach and unflappable determination in aligning resources to best serve the customer.
*A Bachelor*s Degree in business, sales or marketing; Advanced degree desirable
